Dr Jane Hosking

Dr Jane Hosking graduated from Flinders University with an Honours degree: Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (Hons)

Dr Hosking is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA), and a member of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA), the Society for Paediatric Anaesthesia in New Zealand and Australia (SPANZA) and the Australian Medical Association (AMA).

Dr Hosking’s medical and anaesthetic training began at Flinders Medical Centre. She worked her junior years at the Royal Darwin Hospital and then completed her training at the John Hunter Hospital and John Hunter Children’s Hospital in Newcastle. She undertook further Specialist training in Paediatric Anaesthesia at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide.

Since becoming a Specialist Anaesthetist Dr Hosking has gained significant experience in a wide range of anaesthesia, and she has an interesting and diverse clinical load.

Special interests include anaesthesia for:

  • Ear, nose and throat surgery
  • Endoscopic surgery
  • Gynaecological surgery
  • Oncology and cancer surgery
  • Orthopaedic surgery
  • Paediatric surgery
  • Urological surgery
